Privacy Policy
Applies to Deep Haul Tycoon and Otter Ops: River Rescue (the “Games”) on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Last updated: 26 October 2026.
Who we are
The Games are published by Jakub Jirák, Czech Republic (“we”). Contact: support@jakubjirak.com.
What the Games store on your device
Your game progress (currencies, levels, settings) is saved only on your device. We do not run game servers and we do not create accounts.
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. We receive only anonymous sales reports from Apple.
Advertising (iPhone and iPad only)
The free versions show ads served by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC). Reward videos are optional. Interstitial ads appear at natural breaks and never for players who bought No Ads, the Starter Pack or an active VIP subscription. The Mac versions contain no ads.
To show and measure ads, Google may process your device's advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow tracking), IP address, device and app information, and ad interaction data. Google acts under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Your choices and consent
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: before any ads are requested, the Games show a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform, IAB TCF). You can change your choice anytime in Settings → Privacy choices.
- App Tracking Transparency: iOS asks whether the Games may track you. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, only non-personalised ads are shown.
- US state privacy laws: you can opt out of the “sale/sharing” of personal information via Settings → Privacy choices where shown.
- Buying No Ads removes interstitial ads entirely.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Personalised advertising: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Non-personalised ads and fraud prevention: our legitimate interest in funding a free game (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Children
The Games are not directed at children under 13 and are not in the App Store Kids category. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Retention and deletion
Deleting a Game removes all its data from your device. Settings → Reset game progress deletes progress while keeping purchases restorable through Apple.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to processing, and to data portability. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, requests about advertising data are best directed to Google; we will help you with that at support@jakubjirak.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ) or your local authority.
Changes
We will update this page if the Games' data practices change.
